Spit to Manly Walk is one of the most popular bush and coastal walks near Sydney. It is also known as Manly Scenic Walkway and is one of the most beautiful walks offering different views of the North and Middle Heads, passing by various kinds of beaches and parks.
Castle Rock Track
In my opinion, Castle Rock Track is the toughest part of the Spit to Manly walk. It is mostly stairs made of rock and some wooden steps too. This track is also the main reason why Manly to Spit would be easier as taking the Castle Rock Track from Spit to Manly is mostly uphill. It is still a very nice walk nonetheless with great fauna covering and beautiful views of the water. The track is very well marked and easy to follow.
Castle Rock Track can be accessed at the eastern end of Monash Cres. The path will pass through Clontarf Point and Clontarf Track first.
